The name says it all, doesn't it? Sunny skies and miles of ocean aren't the only perks to this amazing city, however. Food, fun and football are only a few of reasons local residents never leave their wonderful Tampa apartments for rent.

If you are in Tampa for a visit or if you just need some time out of the apartment you will find a whole smorgasbord of festivities to keep you occupied. Dancing and dining, family fun and loads of history and culture are waiting to be discovered in this awesome city.

As the largest open water estuary in
Florida, Tampa Bay has lots of wet and wild fun in the sun opportunity. Visit the Ben T Davis Beach for sparkling white sands and outrageous people watching. Visit any of the Tampa Bay beaches for picnicking, family fun and excitement. Try the Belleair Beach, Indian Rocks Beach, Reddington Beach and Treasure Island. Each has its own unique set of attractions and events.

The beaches also lend their selves to some cool shopping venues. Spread along the water front you will many specialty shops, malls and stores with a beautify view of the sparkling sea. Shop a while at high end outlets like Hyde Park and Ybro. Try a jaunt through Britton Plaza, Carrollwood Commons, University Mall, Artsiphartsi, Hoffman Porges Gallery or the West Shore Plaza.

Hungry? Tampa has you covered with its fantastic array of unique and exciting restaurants. Maybe you just want a burger and fried? Tampa has that too. Give Maestro's Restaurant, Saigon Bay Vietnamese Restaurant, and Bay Area Restaurant. Like seafood? Try the areas best at Catch 23, Aphrodites, Splash, Courtside Grille, Crabby Bill's, and Rick's Custom Meats. Is sushi more your cup of sake? If so head to Charlotte Sushi, Nakato, Matoi Sushi, King & I Restaurant, Sushi TSU and Samuri Blue Sushi and Sake Restaurant.

Family fun is around every corner in Tampa Bay. Visit Adventure Island for an extraordinary water park escapade. See the Parker Manatee Aquarium, the Seminole Indian Casino, The Bishop Planetarium, Bok Tower, Showtown USA or Busch Gardens.

How about a little history and culture? Tampa is chock full of both. Start with the great museums and fantastic learning opportunities the city has to offer. Try the Florida International Museum, The Salvador Dali Museum and The Sunken Gardens Museum, the oldest museum in the region. The Museum of Science and Industry is always a winner as so is the Children's Museum, Veterans Museum and Park and the Peter O. Knight House, Tampa Bay History Museum and the Museum of African Art. To top it all off take a visit to the Tampa Police Museum. It is captivating!

It is easy to understand why everyone loves their Tampa apartments. Come for a visit and you'll stay for a lifetime! Find Tampa apartments for rent that match your tastes today!
